Ordinary Miracles

This is a blog about my adventure to Chile, and how every day I want to be a witness to all of the ordinary miracles that surround me. Sometimes, just recognizing the ordinary miracles makes us realize just how extraordinary they really are.

Just listen. Hear the Music. Feel its Beauty.

Its just the First second. I am Somewhere else.

Strolling down a Great Ocean Road. Falling, or is it Flight?

Learning that I am here, I am me, From now on.

Oh, the Places I dream of.

This is just a One Time Deal, or is it?

What are the odds, one-to-two, two-to-one, or, are they Ten to Five?

Sometimes I wish this mystery of life was more Clear Cut.

Why do I feel I am on this crazy journey, just looking for the Next Exit?

I am missing home today, a lot. And because of this strong twinge of sadness that has struck my heart, I decided, while I meditated and journaled, to listen to tracks my Pops and the rest of the band, The Underdogs, put together. The song titles to the album, Dig This, are intertwined into the poem I was inspired to write, above.

Listening to my Pops play the guitar is a surreal experience. You can feel the passion he puts into every strum. Just simply listening to him play gives me a great sense of home. It makes me feel better.
